Bacon potato chowder is a mixture of potatoes and bacon flavored bits come together to make a hearty chowder that is great to reach for when it is soup eating weather. It is also great to have on hand when you want something hearty, but are not looking forward to doing much cooking. This chowder is great to have for your long term food storage as well as to rotate into your meal plans.
Directions:  Mix contents of can thoroughly before opening by shaking.  After opening may need to stir dry ingredients before measuring.  For 1 serving: In a 2 qt pan, add 1/2 cup of mix to 1 1/2 cups water (more or less water may be added for desired consistency. Bring to a light boil, turn heat down and simmer 5 to 6 minutes.  Stir often to avoid scorching. Serve immediately.

Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 5-10 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.
